Email marketing: FAQs
How much does it cost?
At from around a penny per recipient, email marketing is just a
bit cheaper than direct mail.
You pay for email marketing just as you pay for your mobile
phone. We have a Pay Monthly option and a Pay As You Go option.
Pay Monthly is ideal if you'll be sending a couple of campaigns
or more each month. We bill you a low monthly cost according to the
number of subscribers and you can send as many campaigns as you
like.
Pay As You Go is for you if you'll be sending more infrequently.
You pay, on a pence-per-recipient basis, for each campaign you
send.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. We don't charge for setting up MailManager for you or for importing your
first batch of subscribers. If you choose Pay As You Go, you only
pay for what you use. If you choose Pay Monthly, you can benefit
fromlow, low costs for bulk sends.
There's a one-off artworking fee for designing branded templates
which you can use in MailManager as often as you like, and for any
ad hoc solus eflyer design.
How good is your deliverability?
MailManager's inbuilt design and spam tests help you to protect
your campaigns against common spam and display issues.
The email servers we use are whitelisted at major ISPs and are
constantly monitored against blacklisting.
We have a strict permissions policy which ensures that our mail
marketing customers are sending to subscribers who have opted in to
receive emails from them. This helps to keep spam complaints low
and maximise the effectiveness of our email server
deliverability.
How do I know if I'm doing it right?
We're with you all the way with help and advice. We'll work with
you to make sure that your campaigns are well crafted and focused
on conversion.
What about your subject lines? What about the Outlook pop-up
notification? How about trying A/B testing or autoresponders? Any
questions - just let us know.
I need help bringing together my email
addresses!
We're happy to help you collate and import data into
MailManager, and to advise on best ways of managing that data once
it is in place.
MailManager's automatic list-joining and unsubscription
processes work in your favour, too. If you're used to manually
removing and adding email addresses to your lists, you can breathe
a sigh of relief. MailManager does it all for you.
